Meanwhile, Blikki developed into a "grown-up"
Eurasier and soon found her special place within her human and dog family.
As expected, Merlin was simply overwhelmed when confronted with
Blikki's female charm and temperament.

| We did not want Blikki to stay without four-legged
company. Together with Blikki, we
then enjoyed the company of Eurasier Don vom
Isselbruch. The two liked each other and became a wonderful
team. In Winter 2009/2010 there was
plenty of lovely, powdery snow, which was much to the delight of
Blikki and Don.
As always, Blikki made the impression she was having so much fun
in life ... 
... and then, suddenly,
Blikki started to throw up twice daily, she went off her food
and drank a lot of water. During more than a week, step by step,
every possible diagnostic method was applied to
find out what was causing this. Only the very last method,
surgery, revealed the real cause and, sadly, there is no remedy for it.
We did not want Blikki to have to carry on suffering with
this. We opted to let her sleep forever. We are very sad that Blikki
left us so early, at the same time we are enormously happy she
enriched our lives. Blikki is now with Ayla and Merlin. Blikki,
our dear little princess. |
